I think I’ll explain more about this later, but I’ve been working in Processing and kind of stumbled onto this! I just thought they were too cool not to post.

Digital is Physical


Yeah, so, I recently made this Super Basic Drawing App (please go play with it!). I also made the drawing below.

The Super Basic Drawing App(!) was made with Processing. The drawing below (above) is (not too big) x (a little bigger) made with pen and mechanical pencil on matte board.

I recently finished watching Battlestar Galactica and I suppose it has been on the philosophical/metaphysical/visual realms of my mind lately.  And so, I suppose, I decided to use these ideas as a project to learn how to make something in Processing. The pages above are from an old book that was converted into a sketchbook before I bought it. The first image is the cover.

The book is The War by Louis L. Snyder, published in 1960.

Just found these pictures.  I did these for an upper level art class back in college as a demonstration of some kind of art I wouldn’t normally do.  I liked cowboys and rockets. I still like digital painting…
